With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Henry Dorland of Lake City, Michigan, born in Riverside, Michigan, who passed away on December 29, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Bessie Dorland (Cohoon); and his siblings, Mable McCleod (Homer), Pearl Haley (Andy), Edith Kaouzoures (Charles), Beatrice Lipp (Charles), Beulah Farr (Charles), Helen Cavanaugh (Russell), Clare Dorland (Eleanore), Bill Dorland (Bonnie) and Betty Jean Dorland.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Joyce Dorland of Lake City; and his children, Kenneth Dorland (Michele) of Evart, Gregory Dorland (Barb) of Caledonia, Jeffrey Dorland (Frieda) of Lake City and Brenda Becker (David) of Wyoming. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
