He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Barrett and Eleanor Barrett (Barden); and his former wife Bernice Ann Fedder. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Scheff; and his children, Jerry Barrett Jr. (Deborah), Perry Barrett (Heather), Kandy Barrett, John Meinhardt (Nickoale), Brenda Fertig (Jeremy), Kenneth Meinhardt (Shannon), Scott Scheff, Jennifer Scheff and Kelly Neeser (Jeremy). He is also survived by Twenty six grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren and numerous special friends.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023 at the Mount Hope Memorial Gardens, 17840 Middlebelt Road, Livonia, MI, 48152, Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
