He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Bierens and Esther Bierens (VanderWoude); his son Timothy Brunner; his granddaughter Kristina Pritchard; his sister Kay; his siblings-in-law, Cliff Klein, Evelyn Huber and Gerald Workman; and his niece Tammy Beebee.
He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Brunner (Robinson); his wife Pat Bierens; his daughter Kim Hardy (Dan); his sisters, Anna Workman, Betty King (Sid) and Eleanor DeRuiter (Ken); his siblings-in-law, Violet Robinson and Dick Robinson; his grandchildren, Marcus Hardy (Ashley), Nick Hardy (Holly), Rachel Thompson (Josh) and Troy Pritchard; his great grandchildren, Doreen, Maddie, Chance, Jerdan, Calla, Kaydence, Mia, Aleck, Jayson and Jaxson; his great great grandchild Kayleigh; his niece Shelly Narva; and his nephew Mike Klein. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made out to St. Johns Lutheran Church and the Missaukee County Humane Society.
