We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2024, at the age of 77, Gary Vernon Porter of Lake City, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Gary had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Gary may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gail. He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki Musselman (Steve) and Kristine Laping (Chris); and his grandchildren, Steven Musselman (Samantha) and Sara Musselman (Wyatt Lambert).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Young-Holdship Funeral Home (403 S Pine St, Lake City, MI 49651). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
