He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Ver Hey Sr. and Ella Ver Hey (Hemple). He is survived by: his wife Lola Ver Hey (Overway); his children, Robb Ver Hey of Holland and John Ver Hey (Rhonda) of Zeeland; his grandchildren, Kayla Marie Ver Hey of Portage and Cameron John Ver Hey of Zeeland; and his siblings, Carol Johnson, Steve Ver Hey, Rick Ver Hey, Eileen Melvin, Kathy Ver Burg and Terry Ver Hey.
