He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert DeBoer and Lillian DeBoer (Meekhof); his brothers-in-law, Jim Coolsen and Gene Pitts; his in-laws, Irv and Donna Lundell; and his nephews, Eric Vredeveld and Tom Trusock.
He is survived by: his family Julie (Lundell); his children, Andrew (Holly), Emersyn, Mason and Kaitlyn DeBoer; his siblings, Bob (Barb), Ed (Carla), Tom (Deb), Brian, Bruce (Lisa), Ron DeBoer (Kerrie), Sandi Coolsen and Sheryl Pitts; his uncle Al DeBoer; and his in-laws, Kristi Vredeveld (Lon), Mark (Ellen) and John Lundell (Karen).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lake City Christian Reformed Church (1657 S Morey Rd, Lake City, MI 49651).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Community Hope of Lake City or Northern Michigan Christian School.
