Carl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Brian Smith; and his cousin Doug Heuker. He is survived by: his parents, John Rozeveld and Millie Rozeveld (Heuker) of McBain; his wife Debra S. De Young; his children, Courtney Rozeveld of Clearwater and Joshua Rozeveld of Lake City; his granddaughter MaKenna; his siblings, Barb VanderHeide (Mike) of Midland, Marcia Smith of McBain, Gordon Rozeveld (Tina) of McBain, Jack Rozeveld (Dawn) of McBain, Bill Rozeveld (Judy) of McBain, Sally Westmaas (Al) of Marion and Joe Rozeveld (Carrie) of McBain; and his in-laws, Bernie of Hudsonville, Kathy De Young of Hudsonville, Laurie De Young of Hudsonville and Brenda Dryfhout (Ken) of Wheaton, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral and Cremation Services (205 E Cass St, Cadillac, MI 49601). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rehoboth Reformed Church (8372 S Lucas Rd, McBain, MI 49657-9106).
