She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick France and Beatrice France (Coffey); her former spouse Manley Hughes; her husband Orville K. Sands; her son Manley Hughes; and her brother Richard France.
She is survived by: her son Michael Hughes; her daughter-in-law Julie Hughes; her stepchildren, Sharon, Linda, Cynthia, Barbara, Nancy, David and Bart; her grandsons, Michael, Scott, Jason and Chad; her brothers, Sonny France (Dorothy) and Jim France (Louise); and her sister-in-law Betty France. She is also survived by several other grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
