She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley VanHaitsma and Nancy VanHaitsma (Boven); her stepsister Lynne Coffel; her sister-in-law Janice Dodde; and also Cheryl Hesselink.
She is survived by: her husband Clayton Jay Boven of Lake City; her sons, James Tompkins of Lake City and Rick Tompkins of Bemidji, MN; her son-in-law David Hesselink of Cadillac; her stepdaughters, Anita Boven (Jerome Roys) of Lake and Michelle Magnus (Bryan) of Traverse City; her grandchildren, Heather Reddick (Brandon), Joshua Hesselink (Lori Carlson), Dylan Hesselink, Kylie Tompkins and Cameron Tompkins; her siblings, Kenneth VanHaitsma (Wanda) of Redford and Brance Parker (Dee) of Destin; and her in-laws, Jerry Boven Marion (Joyce) and Arnold Dodde (Linda) of Evart. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren.
