He was predeceased by: his son William "Bill" Paul Alvis Jr.; and his siblings, David and Sharon. He is survived by: his wife Olivia "Jean" Courson; his son Greg Alvis (Jody); his grandchildren, Kayla Marie, Kayla Renee, Kyle and Brendan; and his daughter-in-law Danielle Alvis. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
