She was predeceased by: her brother Excavating; her parents, James L. and Florence Mina Smith (Peck); her spouse Floyd Marvin Tanner Sr.; her siblings, Paul R. Smith (Joan), James A. Smith (Maggie), Elsie Tanner and Carribelle Crandall; her son-in-law Ronald Walter; and her grandson Isaac Matthew Tanner.
She is survived by: her children, Floyd "Marvin" Tanner Jr. of Lake Ann, David Tanner (Denise) of Traverse City, Terry Tanner (Joni) of Durham, NC, Estel Tanner (Dawn) of Lake Isabella, Susan Walter of Traverse City, Vonnie Tanner of Interlochen, Debra Ducsay (Michael) of Marquette and Katherine Besaw (David) of Grandville; her grandchildren, Sarah Heinecke (Rob), Autumn Ducsay, Hannah Sattler (Clare), Alexandra Carter, Shelby Carter, Meghan Tanner, Christopher Tanner (Alicia), Andrew Ducsay (Allison), Jacob Tanner (Becky), Corey Ducsay (Lacey), Travis Tanner, David Besaw and Nathan Tanner; and her brother-in-law Don Crandall.
