He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Wendels and Madelyn Wendels; and also Kim. He is survived by: his wife Joann; and his siblings, Judy Ohlfs (Chuck), Jim Wendels (Dena Smith), Donna Cierpial (Kevin), David Wendels (Anna), Don (Chris Williams), John Wendels and Mike Wendels (Laura). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
