It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Scott Smith of Laingsburg, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard B. Smith and Janet Allmond (Smith); his brother Chris Smith; and his niece Taylor Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Kirt Smith (Tracy), Cindie Owen and Connie Carrasco (Steve); his aunts, Shirley Bryson (Stan) and Phyllis Whidden; and his nieces and nephews, Jimmy Bird (Carrie), Christopher Smith, Amanda Smith (Lewis), Michelle Smith, Rachael Self (Nekoda), Kasey Clymo, Jarid Smith, Andy Barnard (Natalee), Tiffany Travis and David Gagneir. He is also survived by numerous cousins, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to KCS Angels in memory of Scott.
