He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Robert Grandy Sr. and Amy Lorraine Meredith; his stepfather Jim Counseller; his brother Bob Grandy Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Don, Norm and Wanita Stevens.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Justin, Alexander, Ashlynn, Emma and Zachary; his wife Marie Ilene Darling; his children, Amy Brunette (Kevin), Kelly Parker (Brian) and Richard Grandy Jr. (Shelly); his sisters, Marilyn Ferrigan, April Rumpel (Lance) and Carolyn Geller; and his brother-in-law Gary Stevens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes - Laingsburg Chapel (203 E 1st N St, Laingsburg, MI 48848). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes (203 E 1st N St, Laingsburg, MI 48848).
