She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eugene Welton and Ruth Welton (Cooper).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lansing City Rescue Mission, the American Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society – Michigan Chapter.
