She was predeceased by: her father Walter Patrick; her husband Arnold Bauer; her pet Princess Penny; and her brother William "Bill" Patrick. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Bauer-Clark, Linda Gavenda (Jim), Karen Moore (Rick), Ron Bauer (Adae), Kim Sidel (Bill), Jill Thompson (Brian), Lee Anne Jackard (Jake) and Craig Bauer; and her sister Jean Goedert. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Isidore- Holy Family Catholic Church in memory of Joan.
