He is survived by: his former wife Gwendolyn Theusch; his wife Gwen; his stepchildren, Stephen Simpson, Jr. (Naomi) of Dansville, MI, Dianne Trevino (Jesse) of Lansing and Stephanie Hazel (Michael) of Brooklyn, MI; his grandchildren, Daniel Trevino, Jordan Trevino, Emily, Logan Hazel, Ryan Simpson and Julian Simpson; and his brother Bryan Gates of Leslie. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
