He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Parmenter and Josephine Julia Parmenter (Secord); and his siblings, James Sills, Richard Parmenter II and Josephine Squibb.

He is survived by: his wife Patty Sills; his children, Melissa Sills, Monica (Roy Smithkey), George Sills II, Jason (Leisa Burt), Erin (Becky Sills), James (Sarah Sills) and Jayme (Dan Grubaugh); and his siblings, Genevieve Keener and Wayne Parmenter. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
