She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Howe and Coral Howe (Banner); the mother of her children Maureen Young; her son-in-law Randy Ingalls; and her brother James Russell Howe.
She is survived by: her husband Randall F. Young; her grandchild Detroit Redwings; her children, Tammy Ingalls, Kevin Young (Adrian), Shelli Young (Jock) and Scott Young (Theresa); her brother Eugene Howe (Sue); and her close friends, Don, Kathy Hengsbach, Steve and Patty Lang. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in her name to McLaren Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
