She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Bowen and Reva Bowen (Norris); her husband George Strait; and her sister Bonnie Billings. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Suggate (Dave), George Strait (Kammie), Cheryl Dennis and Steve Strait (Sharon); her grandchildren, Jamie Nixon (Jim), Jeremy Suggate (Stacy), Jordan Strait (Lora), Amber Redmond (Jake), Amanda Dennis, Zachary Dennis (Taylor Daniels), Courtney Keese and Paige Keese; and her great grandchildren, Kendall Nixon, Rylee Strait, Kaylee Strait, Julius Redmond, Joey Redmond, Natalie Rodgers, Taylor Dennis, Samuel Dennis, Hadley Dennis and Zachary Dennis, Jr..
In lieu of flowers (that she was allergic to) the family asks for donations to go to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 248 in Laingsburg.
