With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Jean Ryan of Lachine, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 7, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Black and Louise Black (Richmond); her significant other William Ryan; her children, Glen Ryan, Robert Ryan, Gloria Ryan and Louise Carnovale; her great grandchildren, Johnny and Brysen; and her siblings, Donald Black, Beverly Hubbard, Gary Black and June Josey.
She is survived by: her children, William Ryan (Margaret), Roxie Maczik (Thomas), Michael Ryan (Donna) and Peggy Ryan; and her sister Carol Kattlemen. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
