She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Cole and Irene Cole (Griffith); and her sister Carolyn VanVolkenburg. She is survived by: her husband Doug; and her children, Brad Kortman, Jodi Newman (Richard), Amy, Eric Kortman (Patricia) and Brant Kortman (Ashley Smith). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lachine Community of Christ Church (12990 Atkinson Rd, Lachine, MI 49753). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
