He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Anderson and Thelma Anderson (McHarg); his grandson Daniel James Anderson; his siblings, Carol and Jerry Anderson; and his parents-in-law, Ivan and Esther Sumerix.

He is survived by: his wife Mable L. Sumerix; his children, Lori, Dennis Amlotte, Jim and Lisa Anderson; his grandchildren, Austin, Londyn Amlotte, Colton and Carson Anderson; and his sister Joan Anderson. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
