It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dell Aikens of Lachine, Michigan, born in Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on May 2, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer McDonnell and Lucille McDonnell (Goulette); her son Paul Aikens; and her sister Jacqueline Hobson. She is survived by: her husband David Aikens; her children, Mary Burns, Denise Grulke (Denny), Karen Haugen (Dale), Brian Aikens (Christine), Julie Ferguson-Powers (Charles) and Gordon Aikens (JoAnn); her daughter-in-law Melanie Aikens; her sisters, Patricia Curtis and Jane Allen; and her brother-in-law Charles Hobson. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren.
