Shirley Lafond Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2021, at the age of 69, Shirley Lafond of Kingston, Michigan, born in Cass City, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mothers, Winnie Skinner and Maybelle Skinner (Bemis) of Gladwin; her brother Donnie Skinner; her stepfather Larry Sarles; her stepbrother James Patterson; her parents-in-law, Jean LaFond and Raymond LaFond; and her siblings-in-law, Babette LaFond and John Tezak.

She is survived by: her husband Robin Lee LaFond; her children, Robin LaFond Jr. of West Branch and Martie Osmulski (Nick) of Traverse City; her grandchildren, Shyanne LaFond, Madison LaFond, Bryson LaFond, Gradin Osmulski, Griffin Osmulski and Peyton Osmulski; her great grandchild Sawyer McCormick; her siblings, Robert Bemis of Gladwin, Karen Boyl (Wayne) of Otsego, Debra Scott of Lake Wales, FL, William Skinner (Deb) of Kingston, Sally Carb (Michael) of Mayville, Betty Brousseau (Hank) of Alger, Richard Skinner of Deford, David Skinner (Wendy) of Wilton, WI, Jackie Webb of Kingston and George Patterson (Tammy) of Alger; her stepsiblings, LueEllen Woolmen (Gary) of Carsonville, Elizabeth Troub (Jeffrey) of Owosso, Robert Patterson (Brenda) and Patricia Carnatize of Charlotte, NC; and also, Carol Tezak of Indian River, Pamela Gray (Brian) of Kawkawlin, Judith Coder (Larry) of Bay City, Douglas LaFond (Reba) of Columbia, TN, Danial LaFond (Carla), Kimberly LaFond of New York, NY and James LaFond (Lori) of Rapid River. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitors are reminded to wear a mask or other facial covering during the visitation. Social distancing and limitations on numbers gathered will be observed.
