She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Alger and Marie Antoinette Thornton, Jr. (Brown); and her siblings, Linda Thornton, Bonnie Keding and John Russell Thornton, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Robert Smith March; her children, Rob Smith (Becky) of Cheboygan, Brandy Symons (Jay) of Saginaw, Tara Olar (Eric) of Caro and Jonnie Brown (Richard) of Cass City; her grandchildren, Sarra, Jason, Mikayla, Stephanie, Haylee, Madison and Olivia; her great grandchild Kinzleigh; her siblings, Patrick Thornton of Cass City and Deborah Dandron (Al) of Silverwood; and her brother-in-law Edward Keding of Waterford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kranz Funeral Home for the benefit of the family.
