It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Pierce (Kingston, Michigan), born in Cumberland, North Carolina, who passed away on June 6, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Linda Nordan Hobbs; her brother-in-law Bill Sampson; her parents, Clinton Nordan and Mary Nordan; her grandson Trevor Pierce; and her niece Virginia 'Ginny' Carter.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth R. Pierce, Sr.; her children, Elizabeth Bush (Brad) of Knob Noster, MO, Rebecca Ensign (Randy) of Howard City, MI, Kenneth R. Pierce II of Kingston, MI and Troy Pierce of Waterford, MI; her grandchildren, Dan Ensign (Kristin), Ken Pierce III (Marisa), Dana Grummet (Derek), Chelsey Bush, Mykayla Johnson and Cassidy Pierce; and her siblings, Judy Sampson of Coco, FL, Roger Nordan (Sandy) of Fayetteville, NC, Clinton Nordan (Christine) of Linden, NC and Melody Edwards of Fayetteville, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
