He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Caverly and Delilah Caverly Cummings (Warner); his stepfather Eugene Cummings; his sisters, Dorothy Gilmore, Laurel Miller, Linda Harris and Jeannie Caverly; his stepsiblings, Norma Campbell, Nancy Seidler, Butch Cummings and Dale Cummings; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Miller, Elroy Gilmore, Chuck Cummings and Judy Cummings.
He is survived by: his wife Mabel O. Shaw; his brother Cap; his sons, Troy Caverly (Doraine) of Deford, MI, Darwin Caverly of Charlotte, NC and Wade Caverly (Charity) of Caro, MI; his siblings, Calvin Caverly (Kay) of Kingston, MI, Raymond Caverly (Carol) of Gagetown, MI and Bonnie Cummings of Mayville, MI; his stepsister Connie Witkovsky (Melvin); and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Harris and JoAnn Cummings. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
