He was predeceased by: his parent-in-law Phillip. He is survived by: his wife Betty Mexico; his children, James C. Mexico, Jr., Lana Franks (Mark), Keith Mexico, Claudia Leszczyk (Patrick), Glenn Mexico and Karen Young (Danny); and his sister Helen Marie Peplinski (Richard). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
