He was predeceased by: his parents, Valoice Powell and Thelma Powell; his wife Maryjane Armstrong; his brothers, Vern, Dick (InthaMae), Pete (Betsy) and Victor; his son-in-law Tony; and his nephew Steve.
He is survived by: his daughters, Roxann Washburn of Flint, Annette Evans (Chris) of Indiana and Rosalie Church (Lyle) of Kingston; and his grandchildren, Erica Pease (Donny), Jason Washburn (Steph), Brandon Washburn, Rachel Boyer, Jonathon Dusseau, Katie Fender (Craig), Josh Dusseau (Kayla), Hope Dusseau, Jennifer Groosbeck (Shawn), James Fowler (Shela), Michael Holzheuer and Jasmine Church. He is also survived by many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Kranz Funeral Home (3452 Washington St, Kingston, MI 48741). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Kingston Wesleyan Church.
