He is survived by: his wife Lucille Rahe; his children, Michele Fox (Bill), Cheri Mikowski (Chuck), Craig Zenner (Sharon), Jeff Zenner (Sheila) and Bruce Zenner (Noni); his grandchildren, Greg (Marie), Cassandra (Mark), Sarah (Mike), Bruce Allen (Jessy), Becca (Jon), Ashley (Steve), Ryan, Lindsey (Joey), Kayley (Cody), Brandon, Courtney, Nate, Jake and Zack; and his siblings, Carl, Dan (Donna), Rosie Schmitz, Marian Klisanac, Jim (Sue), Rich (Gay) and Roy (Benny). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Elmer's name to St. Mary of Hannah Catholic Church.
