With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Lucy Newell of Kingsley, Michigan, who passed away on November 6, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Garvin and Pauline Garvin (Narloch); her siblings, Anthony Garvin and Matilda Pleva; and her grandson Jonathon Schaffer.
She is survived by: her husband Ed; her children, Patrick Newell (Deborah) of Fife Lake, Juanita Clark (Rip Kline) of Kalkaska, Sheila Wheeler (Brian) of Kingsley and Timothy Newell (Missy) of Kingsley; and her siblings, Roman Garvin, Staley Garvin, Alec Garvin, Josephine Boczar, Frances Mills and Maxine Taylor. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Aloysius Catholic Church or to Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
