We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2020, at the age of 59, Robert D. Saxon (Kingsford, Michigan), born in Iron Mountain, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Saxon and Ruth Saxon (Gustafson); his father-in-law George Atanasoff; and his brother-in-law Kurt Krafski. He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, Steve and Karl Atanasoff; his friend Dave "Mac" McIntosh; his wife Kris; his stepchildren, Amy Allen (Abe) of De Pere, WI and Jarrad Maki (Mandy) of Iron Mountain, MI; his grandsons, Luke and Alex; his mother-in-law Carol Atanasoff; his siblings, Charlene Krafski of Kingsford, MI, Shirley Schmidt (Larry) of Wichita, KS, Jim Saxon (Sue) of Iron Mountain, MI, Randy Saxon (Betty) of Elizabethtown, KY, Nancy Buchcuski-Shimwela (Nicky) of Iron Mountain, MI, Dar Es Salaam and Tanzania; his nephew Kirk Robertson of Kenosha, WI; and his godsons, Adam Buchcuski of Iron Mountain, MI and Colin Robertson of Kenosha, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
