He is survived by: his parent Hazel Smart (Bates); his spouse Carole Hansen; his sons, Cory Smart and Brad Smart (Kristy); his grandchildren, Geoff, David, Laura, Kathryn, Russell and Ellie; his sisters, Barbara Fontecchio (Ken) of Wasilla and Mary Jane Smart of Kingsford, MI; and his sister-in-law Betty Smart of Kingsford, MI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
