With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond E. Maki of Kingsford, Michigan, born in Ishpeming, Michigan, who passed away on October 23, 2022 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Raymond E. Maki to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Toivo Maki and Viola Maki (Lakanen); his wife Ruth E. Mattson; his son Brian; his daughter-in-law Donna; his siblings, Robert, LeRoy, Michael, Lorraine and Margaret; and his siblings-in-law, Melba Maki, Faye Maki, Virginia Mattson, Bennie Mattson, Pete Hendrickson and Robert Duncan.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven of Lima and Donald (Roxanne) of Kingsford; his grandchildren, Steven (Christina), Nicholas, Nancy Smith, Spencer and Robert (Rachel); and his sisters-in-law, Jane Maki of Ishpeming and Irja Hendrickson of Republic. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Bergland.
