He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Demas and Maude Hooser (Montgomery); his wife Elaine Dennis; his siblings, Robert Hooser, Dorothy Brown, Laura Lawry, Barbara Hooser, Marjorie Sutton and Virginia Hooser; and his grandson Terry Kline.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Mary Carlson; his children, Scot Hooser, Mark Dickens of California, Richard (Kevin Dickens), Penny and Robyn Bloom (Russell); his nephews, Pete and LeRoy Kline (Jamie) of Kansas; his niece Kathy Pavlat (Mike Gribble) of Iron Mountain; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Crystal VanHese (Mike), Michael Ihander (Darlene), Jackson Kline and Mandy Kline; his great grandchildren, Mylee and Sawyer VanHese; and his brother-in-law Robert Ketchum of Iron River. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
