It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Helen Veraghen (Kingsford, Michigan), who passed away on December 21, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent James Dan; her husband William "Jack" Veraghen; her sisters, Bessie Simpson and Margaret Johnson; her siblings-in-law, William "Peany" Powell, Ellery Powell, Lloyd "Buck" Powell, Fred Powell, Agnes Jackson, Evelyn Paquin, Eunice Schinderle and Vivian "Bebo" Powell; her grandchildren, April Veraghen and Daniel Veraghen; and her great grandchild Damian Veraghen.
She is survived by: her parent Dorothy Voris (Morrison); her children, Debra Ellis (John) of Iron Mountain, Dan Veraghen (Jean) of Green Bay and Diane Brey (Ken Raska) of Green Bay; her grandchildren, Jamie Ellis (Kathi), Jeremy Ellis, Kelli Vardigan (Nick), Staci Laakonen (Ron), Sara Cabana (David), Mikky Ebert (Nathan), Summer DeGrave (Josh), Chad Veraghen, Amy Stanchina (Jim), Casey Faccio, Jenna Faccio, Katie Brey, Brad Hazelwood (Dawn) and Brianne Hazelwood; and her great grandchildren, Hailey Ellis, Hanna Ellis, Kayla Laakonen, Bryce Veraghen, Kamen Cabana, Talia Cabana, Christian Ebert, Treydan Ebert, Kali Stanchina, Kara Stanchina, Kaile Faccio, Dante Garza, Illiana Umentum, Tyler Hazelwood, Sadie Hazelwood and Ryan Johnson. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
