Marcia E. Peterson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcia E. Peterson of Kingsford, Michigan, who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Joseph Clement and Muriel Clement; her husband Lloyd "Buzz" Peterson (Buzz); her son Jeffrey Peterson; her brother Joseph Clement; and her in-laws, Lloyd and Grace Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Peterson (Denice), Ann Olson (Bruce), Katharine Barnes (Steven), Linda Michaud (Gale) and Kim Collins (Todd); her grandchildren, Matthew Peterson (Alicia), Andrew Peterson (Jill), Josh Peterson (Marie), Sara Salem (Fadi), Stacy Lutz (Matt), Kristina Calnin (Jeremy), Derek Barnes (Ali), Sydney Peterson, Brandon Michaud, Daniel Michaud (Courtney), Cole Michaud (Allison), Abby Michaud, Anthony Collins (Kari) and Emily Collins (Derek); her great grandchildren, Cooper, Myles Michaud, Gus Peterson, Olivia, Jude Salem, Luka, Lakelyn Lutz, Emmett Calnin and Bryor Barnes; her brothers, John Clement (Betty) and Dr. Stephen Clement (Danielle); and her siblings-in-law, Eugene Peterson (Chris) and Karen Peterson-Weslowski.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the American Martyrs Catholic Church (908 W Sagola Ave, Kingsford, MI 49802).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Peterson Memorial Scholarship, which was started in the memory of Buzz and Jeff and now to include Marcia.
