Lorraine F. Luba Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lorraine F. Luba of Kingsford, Michigan, born in Ironwood, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Wahlquist and Elizabeth Wahlquist (DesLongchamp); her husband Clyde Luba; and her former husband Dick Machus. She is survived by: her granddaughters, Missy Davidson and Christine Bruns (Mike); her siblings, William Johnson (Sandy) and Pat Ellis; her great grandchildren, Kassandra, Chelsie, Kevin, Alyssa and Erika; her sister Bunny Paquette; and her stepfather William Johnson. She is also survived by 9 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Kingsford Funeral Home (1000 S Carpenter Ave, Kingsford, MI 49802). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the American Martyrs Catholic Church (908 W Sagola Ave, Kingsford, MI 49802).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dickinson County Cancer Unit Loan Closet.
