It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julaine Marie Mitchell of Kingsford, Michigan, born in Iron Mountain, Michigan, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Sorensen and Bernice Sorensen (Atherton); and her brothers, Robert Coughlin (Kathy) and Phillip Sorensen. She is survived by: her sons, Ben Mitchell, Adam Mitchell (Ivory) and Zachary Mitchell (Megan); her brother Gordon Sorensen (Paula); and her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Flynn, Heather Sorensen, Sara Tregillis, Samuel Sorensen, John Coughlin, Robert Coughlin Jr., David Coughlin and James Coughlin. She is also survived by several great-nephews/nieces and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home (901 Carpenter Ave, Iron Mountain, MI 49801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
