She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Tutas and Harriet Tutas (Phillips); her sons, Michael Jr. and Lawrence Thompson; and her siblings, George, Walter, Robert Tutas and Mary Ann Fergeau.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Thompson; her daughters, Lisa Celello (David) and Marcia Thompson of Iron Mountain, Mich.; her brothers, Arthur Tutas Jr. (Barbara) of Grand Rapids and Lawrence Tutas (Maryanna) of North Carolina; her sister-in-law Fern Tutas (George) of Kingsford, Mich.; her grandchildren, Ashley Thomas (Drew), Joseph Celello (Mallory), Miranda Robles (Ramiro), Nick Thompson (Miah) and Brooke Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Reece, Paige Thomas, Sophia Celello and Olivia Thompson.
She undeservingly lost a battle against COVID-19 while a resident at the Iron County Medical Care facility, Crystal Falls, Mich.
