He is survived by: his wife RoseMary McCole; his children, Mark Shanks (Joan) of Kingsford and Mary Kay Boehme (Rick) of Cottage Grove, WI; his sister Sandra Perkins of Flint, MI; and his grandchildren, Lucas Shanks (Nicole), Landyn Patterson (Brian), Anna, Alek, Allette Shanks, Amelia and Rebecca Boehme. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
