He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Hirn Sr. and Clarissa Hirn (LaViolette); his wife Arlene Poquette; his son Randy Hirn; his grandson Tony Sleik; his great grandchild Haili Ann Dawson; and his siblings, Edward, Robert Hirn and Lillian Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Hirn (Toni) of Arizona, Cindy Hirn of Iron Mountain, Denise Brown (Jesse) of Kingsford, Donald Hirn (Dawn) of Florence and Ronald Hirn (Lisa). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
