He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cross and Abbie Cross (McDonald); his daughter Rose Marie Cross; and his sisters, Rosie Chinn and Linda Culpepper.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Marie T. Giuliani of Vulcan; his children, James Cross of Portsmouth, VA, Debbie Copeland (Wes) of Portsmouth, Keith Cross (Rhonda) of Quinnesec, Mike Cross (Tina) of Iron Mountain and Terri Bartels (Tim) of Kingsford; his siblings, James Cross (Shirley) of Virginia Beach, Judy Holt (Warren) of Omaha, Silvia Morris (Shad) of Denton, NC and Carol Jones of Virginia; his grandchildren, James, Josh, Nicole, Jesse, Matthew, Jennifer, Paul, Chris, Troy, Travis, Tyler, Brittany, Michael, Samantha, Elizabeth, Adam and Amanda; his great grandchildren, James Justice, Katie, Charlotte, Theo, Noah, Jonah, Zoey, Brayden, Kaylee, Weston and Brantley; and his close friend Sue Miller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and amazing friends.
