He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Erkkila and Marjorie Erkkila (Piper); and his brother Lee "Skip" Erkkila. He is survived by: his wife Mary Erkkila; his children, Brandon Erkkila (Katherine) and Jennifer Erkkila; his stepchildren, Stacey Juranek (Danny), Bradley Senger and Amy Nixon (Tim); his grandchildren, Zander Zaroff, Leo Schabow, Finnley Erkkila and Oliver Erkkila; and his sister-in-law Joann Erkkila.
