Dorothy J. Person Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy J. Person (Kingsford, Michigan), who passed away on January 24, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand "Fred" and Olive Eckelaert (Johns); her spouse William "Bill" Person; her brothers, Frederick Eckelaert and Jack Eckelaert; her brothers-in-law, Halvar Person (Grace) and Norman Meidl; and her sons-in-law, Frank "Bo" Thomas and Thomas Bornfleth.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Bornfleth of Niagara, WI, Rhonda Peters (Wesley) of Knoxville, TN, Jaye Carroll (Jeffrey), Kurt Person (Ramona) of Cedarburg, WI and Ross Person (Katie) of Hobe Sound, FL; her sister Drucilla Meidl of Ft. Meyers, FL; her sister-in-law Sandy Eckelaert of Sun City, FL; and her grandchildren, Chad Bornfleth (Brenda), Jon Bornfleth (Ellisha), Amanda Bornfleth (Tom Trippler), Joshua Thomas (Zoe), Kelly Mack (Jonathan), Nathan Thomas (Melanie), Dana, Katie, Ryan Carroll, Brad, Kyle, Zachary and Cody Person. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren with "one on the way" and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her memory.
