He is survived by: his mother Florence Hamby (McDonald); his wife Gail; his daughters, Melanie Hamby (Doug Matchett) of Kingsford and Jacqui Proudfit (Gary Shinderle) of Iron Mountain; his grandchildren, Shane Siegler, Brandon Proudfit and Hannah Proudfit; and his siblings, Randy Hamby (Nancy) of Anchorage, AK, Rodney Hamby (Cheryl) of Iron Mountain, Ronald Hamby (Penny) of Iron Mountain, Dennis Hamby of Randville and Debbie Miller of Kingsford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Soup Kitchen.
