He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Bates and Juanita Bates (Karban); his siblings, Barbara Olson (Butch), Mina Fayas (Scott), Amy Neuens, Bill Neuens, Sr. (Samantha) and Jim Bates, Jr.; and his nieces and nephews, Wendy Olson, Jennifer Olson (Loren Hayman), Allison Wyle (John), Melissa Olson (Ryan Degroot), Andrea Paul (Gary), April Fayas, Alysa Goodreau (Adam), Ashley Bailey (Bill), Amber Neuens, Billy Neuens, Jr. (Lila), Levi Bates (Abigail), Robert Bates and Kaytlin Dettman (Brady).
Due to Covid restrictions, there will be a private graveside service at a later date.
