He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Peterson and Judith Peterson (Wall); his wife Sally Anderson; and his siblings, Daniel, Curtis Peterson, Bernice Frans and Darcel Nelson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Anderson (David) of Manistique, MI, Susan Bjorkman (Rod) of Kingsford, MI and Mary Kowatch (Craig) of Wausau, WI; his grandchild Jesse Bjorkman (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Blake and Brinna Bjorkman; his granddaughter Janna Nordeman (Tom); his great grandchildren, Noah, Logan and Tauren Nordeman; his grandchild Drs; his children, Cecilia, Bo Bjorkman, Nathaniel Kowatch and Bethany Kafer (Brad); his grandchildren, Andrew, Alistair, Adelaide, Austin and Arianna Kafer; his daughter Abigail Pempek (Casey); his grandchildren, Elias, Ezra and Eden Pempek; and his children, Micah and Jonathan Kowatch.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established at The Kingsford High School.
