She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Beierman and Catherine Beierman (Kurtenbach) of Osmond, NE; her husband Myron Kersting; her brothers, Harold Beierman (Bernice) of Albion, NE and Vernie Beierman of Oakland, NE; her parents-in-law, John and Elizabeth Kersting of Sioux City, IA; and her son Terry Lynn Kersting.

She is survived by: her sons, James Kersting of Kingsford, MI and Gary Kersting (Teresa) of Boyne City, MI; her stepdaughter Joanne Baker of Sioux City, IA; her grandchildren, Laura Kersting, Steve Kersting (Leah) of Gaylord, MI, James, Mikayla, Kevin Kersting of Boyne City, MI and Emily Ladd (Gideon) of Colorado Springs, CO; and her great grandchildren, Gideon, Levi Ladd of Colorado Springs, Danielle and Declan Kersting of Gaylord, MI..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Queen of Peace Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.

“Hello: I just heard about Blanche passing, I'm so vwry sorry for your loss. She was my mom away from home while I did my social work field placement the Fall of 1979 in the Iron Mountain area. She was the office manager of my home base. Friendly, energetic and dedicated is how I remember her. She had me over to her house in Kingsford a couple times.
